Phalaenopsis stuartiana var nobilis

Phalaenopsis stuartiana is a medium to large sized plant with beautifully mottled leaves that grow to 35 cm long and up to 10 cm wide. The underneath is suffused with purple. The inflorescences are long, gracefuylly arched, often branched, and carry many flowers that will open rapidly, so that all flowers in a single spike might be open within a couple of days. The white flowers are faintly fragrant and rather long lasting; the inner half of the lateral sepals greenish yellow with brown spots that extend to the lip.

Phalaenopsis stuartiana var nobilis produces pale, sulfur-yellow flowers.

This species is endemic to the island of Mindanao in southern Philippines.

Plants provided as young flowering sized plants in an 8 cm pot.

These plants were imported directly from South East Asia, arriving to UK in October 2021. Details of CITES and Phytosanitary license permit numbers are available as electronic copies upon request by customers.
