Phalaenopsis fuscata


Phalaenopsis fuscata is a medium sized species with fleshy, shiny green leaves growing to up to 30 cm long. The inflorescences can grow to about 40 cm in a number of years, and bear panicles of many yellow flowers with brown spots. The petals and sepals are strongly revoluted, and the yellow lip has brown stripes running along the length of it. According to some sources, the flowers are slightly fragrant.

Phalaenopsis fuscata is found in Malaysia, Borneo and the Philippines.

Plants provided as flowering sized in an 8 cm pot.
