Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi 'Red'

This particular cultivar produces flowers with more intense and vibrant red markings.

Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi is a medium sized plant, with oblanceolate leaves up to 22 cm long. The fragrant, yellow flowers have reddish brown markings and are borne in strongly flattened inflorescences, lasting a couple of months at a time. The inflorescence will elongate and flower again for many years.

Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi is found in northeast India, the Nicobar Islands, Myan mar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Java, Borneo, Sumatra and the Philippines from sea level to 800 meters of altitude.

Plants provided are near flowering size in an 8 cm pot.
