Phalaenopsis bastianii are medium sized plants, with leaves growing to 25 cm. The erect, branched inflorescences bear many greenish white to yellow flowers with large reddish brown bars and a rose-purple lip. the flowers are approximately 4 cm wide.
Phalaenopsis bastianii is endemic to the Philippines, and is morphologically very similar to Phalaenopsis mariae, from which it differs in the erect inflorescences, with the latter having pendent inflorescences.
Plants provided as flowering sized sized in an 8 cm pot.
These plants were imported directly from South East Asia, arriving to UK in October 2021. Details of CITES and Phytosanitary license permit numbers are available as electronic copies upon request by customers.
