Phalaenopsis amboinensis is a medium sized plant with leaves up to 24 cm that blooms on an arching inflorescence that carries many creamy white or yellow long lasting, fragrant flowers, with transverse red to brown bars that form more or less concentric circles around the white column. The midlobe of the lip is usually mottled with brown.
Phalaenopsis amboinensis grows at low elevations in the Molucca Archipelago and Sulawesi in Indonesia.
Plants provided are young flowering sized plants in an 8 cm pot.
